Terms of Use

1. What MardanCity is

MardanCity is a local discovery platform for Mardan. We help people find businesses and city information, and help owners publish listings. We are not the seller, employer, landlord, doctor, or service provider behind third-party listings unless we clearly say so.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep them updated.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law in Pakistan.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users.

3. Listings & owner content

• Listing information (name, address, phone, hours, photos, prices, job details, etc.) must be truthful and lawful.
• You may only list a business or property you own or are authorized to represent.
• Do not post illegal goods/services, scams, hate content, adult content that violates local law, or personal data of others without permission.
• Listings may be reviewed before going live. We may edit, refuse, or remove content that fails moderation or community standards.
• You grant MardanCity a non-exclusive license to host, display, and promote your submitted content on the platform and in search results.

4. Reviews & user contributions

Reviews and reports must be based on genuine experience. Do not post fake reviews, bribe for ratings, harass others, or misuse the report tools. We may remove reviews that appear abusive, spam, or manipulated.

5. Search, verification & accuracy

We work to keep information useful, but listing details are largely provided by owners and the community. Phone numbers, hours, prices, and availability can change. Always confirm important details directly with the business or service. "Verified" or moderated status means we reviewed submission quality — it is not a guarantee of service quality or legality.

6. Free plan & paid features

At launch, searching is free and businesses may list on the Free plan. Optional paid plans or featured placement may be offered later. Fees, if any, will be shown before you pay. See Pricing for current plans.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to hack the site or API.
• Do not copy large portions of the directory for a competing product without permission.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Do not use the platform for spam or unauthorized advertising.

8. Third-party dealings

Any purchase, hire, visit, medical advice, job application, or rental arrangement is between you and the third party. MardanCity is not liable for outcomes of those relationships, including quality, safety, payment disputes, or employment decisions.

9. Intellectual property

The MardanCity name, logo, design, and software are our property. You may not use our branding in a way that confuses the public. You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to the license in section 3.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim, or PKR 5,000 if you paid nothing — except where liability cannot be limited under Pakistani law.

11. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or change features as MardanCity evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the service at any time. We may remove content or restrict access when necessary to protect the platform or comply with law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith; unresolved disputes may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
